The City of Sedgwick has a part-time unpaid internship opportunity for one or more high school students. If you are looking to gain some job experience or beef up your resume for a future college application, we invite you to apply for this position.
The primary purpose and focus of this internship opportunity is on the digitization and cataloging of paper files of various types. This will allow us to use our limited space more efficiently and create a paperless filing system so that staff can more easily search and quickly find important information.
Candidates will take files in a hard copy format and:
- Shred or recycle, as needed
- Scan and digitize files
- Create and develop an online cataloging system
No experience is required and hours will be flexible. Selected and successful candidate(s) will receive official letters of recommendation from our city administrator and/or city clerk to use as references for future job applications.
Please download and fill out the attached application by clicking this link: City of Sedgwick Job Application
You are welcome to drop it off in person at City Hall or send it in via email using the messaging center located in your candidate dashboard.
