Job Description
City of Garden Plain is looking for someone to fill a position in the public works department. The main duties will be oversight of the Water and Wastewater operations. This person will monitor & operate motors, pumps, meters & related equipment; repair & perform preventive equipment maintenance; utilize monitoring software & record data; draws samples for laboratory analysis. The position does include assisting with gas utility service, street repair, custodial work, painting & mowing. This position is subject to on-call rotation and is paid a premium for working outside of normal business hours.
