The City of Caldwell is looking for a full-time Police Officer to fill a vacancy. Caldwell is located in Sumner County, with an estimated population of 1,000. The Caldwell Police Department consists of 3 full-time officers (including the Police Chief) and 2 part-time officers. Police officers currently work 8-10 hour shifts with varied days/weekends off. All officers are required to work weekends and Holidays as needed.

SALARY: To be determined based on experience and training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license is required. Kansas Commission on Peace Officer' Standards and Training (KS-CPOST) preferred but not required. The ability to perform all required duties. Must be able to pass pre-employment tests including physiological, medical and drug screens.
