Kingman EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time paramedic. EMT and AEMT will also be considered with preference given to current paramedic students. Preference will also be given to applicants willing to live within the city limits of Kingman; otherwise, we ask that only those living within 60 miles of the City of Kingman apply.

Kingman EMS responds to approx. 800-825 calls per year in a rural setting of 720sq miles, which includes portions of Cheney Lake. Our providers are challenged with long-distant transports and use progressive and liberal protocols. Our providers enjoy using the most up-to-date equipment including Zoll X-series, Zoll Ventilators, Zoll Autopulse, and Stryker Power Load. Kingman EMS also operates rescue, who regularly responds to medical calls in addition to vehicle accidents.
The Kingman EMS station is a newly remodeled facility, which includes full living quarters of a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and a large training room.
Qualified applicants must hold Kansas certification in Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT and must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
